Lake County Community Foundation (LCCF) endowment funds fulfill donors’ intentions. Donors’ gifts are invested “For good. For ever. ” Only the earnings from endowment funds are granted annually, and grants are made only to non-profits whose work aligns with donors’ wishes.
Donors may give unrestricted gifts from which the LCCF Board will make grants for the worthiest causes each year, or donors may create or give to an endowment that meets a specific need donors wish to fulfill. A $10,000 minimum gift is required to establish a LCCF endowment fund. Donors may take up to five (5) years to complete an endowment once it has been established, with no earnings awarded from these endowments “in progress” until completion.
Unless noted, endowment funds support Lake County non-profits via the Grants Committee.
