| General Fund |
Each year, Lake County Community Foundation receives hundreds of contributions which are undesignated for specific use. These monies are combined into a General Fund and then a portion of the earnings are given out to deserving non-profits in the Lake County area.
Each year we send request forms to charitable organizations throughout the county. The Board then examines all the proposals for funding and decides which non-profits to assist and how much to allocate to each. Since all the requests have merit, these decisions are never easy. The Board supports many non-profits whose projects could not begin or continue without these grants, made possible by LCCF donors.
